‘Heaven to read, and you’ll laugh like hell’ Time Out
It was quite serendipitous of me to find this book the same day as my posting about Pre-destination, and my taking all night to read it so I can write this post.
It is a humorous take on the Antichrist, Armageddon, Good and Evil and the Great Plan. Assuming,of course, the Antichrist was a child of 11, Armageddon was to happen in England, Good and Evil were all for the destruction of Earth and the fate of the world fell of an Angel and a Demon who liked the world just as it was, fine dining and all.
With Tibetans, Aliens, Americans and Atlanteans, this proves to be a hilarious read that pulls your mind to ask some really important questions about the Great Plan.
Is there really one? And what’s the bloody point?
For the cynic at heart, you’ll enjoy it even more.
This novel was written jointly by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.
